A compulsive in-real-life collaborator, I\u2019ve spent nearly a decade building\u00a0<\/b>incubators and\u00a0communities of writers <\/a><\/strong>and creators<\/a><\/strong> and professional women<\/a><\/strong>, with the express purpose of creating contexts in which creative endeavours can thrive and be realized, and in which unique\u00a0voices can be heard and celebrated.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m also a prize-winning fiction\u00a0writer<\/a><\/strong>, editor and teacher (a \u2018story mechanic\u2019) who has learned how to analyze\u00a0and quantify\u00a0the fundamental elements of stories. And I\u2019ve observed that the magic of words and stories is\u00a0that they have enormous\u00a0power to create a sense of both belonging <\/strong>and empowerment<\/strong>, and\u00a0to incite change<\/strong>\u2014both in the world and within ourselves.<\/p>\n
